Festive mood in a rented flat
I moved to the UK with a couple of suitcases. Of course, no Christmas decorations in there, only the essentials. But it was December and I still wanted that festive mood in my home. And rented flats are never cozy, in fact they usually try to be as faceless and coldly neutral as possible.
So I had to find some quick and ideally not expensive solutions. And I made paper stars. So easy! All I needed was a pair of scissors and a pack of printer paper.
It created that feeling of home and celebration!
Handmade decorations always do it for me, sometimes much better than huge factory-made and expensive ones. The latter just look like you are in a shopping mall, the former gives you that feeling of a childhood wonder. Plus when we had to move again, they were easy to fold, didn’t take much space and could be used the next year.
This is the idea behind my
Christmas bundle!
I know that many of you don’t have time for handcrafting your decorations, or it’s just not your thing. But it is very much mine! I love doing this and spreading the festive vibes. Now I want to do it not only in my home but provide a quick and easy festive setup for those who love art and need some of that whimsical atmosphere in their own home.
